Responsible Technologies Summit

November 9 - 10, 2009

Technology Square Research Center, Georgia Tech

Atlanta, Georgia

To achieve energy independence our country, region and businesses will require greater interdependence. The Southeast region has significant opportunities to embrace renewable energy, particularly biomass and solar, to bolster our joint competitiveness. Responsible technologies that maintain healthy ecosystem services are key to our individual and collective success.

The first annual Responsible Technologies Summit, scheduled November 9 – 10, 2009 and hosted on Georgia Tech campus in downtown Atlanta, builds on the previous work of ENFORM and extends it to address today’s economic environment. This regional Summit is designed specifically for executives seeking responsible technologies and collaborators for long range planning. The Summit will connect business executives with leading policy analysts, researchers and solution providers who are active in the national dialogue on climate change and renewable energy.

Speakers will present a strategic framework and responsible technologies required to evolve and prosper through sustainable development of our region. The panel discussions and networking will help Summit participants formulate a plan for successfully managing energy and other important impacts of their environmental footprint.

See below for Agenda and Speakers' bios.  Register at www.gtbn.org. For more information on the Summit, please contact Lynn Thomas at lthomas@ers-global.com.
